I wish everyday could comprise me sitting in Union Square, taking up some vitamin C and enjoying the early spring.
Back to work!
This is a year-long time-lapse study of the sky. A camera installed on the roof of the Exploratorium museum in San Francisco captured an image of the sky every 10 seconds. From these images, I created a mosaic of time-lapse movies, each showing a single day. The days are arranged in chronological order. My intent was to reveal the patterns of light and weather over the course of a year.
I didn’t realize San Francisco had this many clear days.
Probably one of the best views I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing from inside the city during my lunch break. San Francisco is beautiful in the spring!

The Butler and the Chef in South Park, San Francisco.
As you can see, I have been on an Parisian rampage—if you can’t tell, I wanna go.. really badly. But until then, The Butler and the Chef did it for me. This place was everything I love. The interior was small, quaint, smelled like fresh baked deliciousness; the chef made his occasional rounds, and even an accordion player was there to sing La Vie En Rose. Highly recommend it. And aside from the actual cafe, South Park is a jewel in SF!
